Last Updated: October 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering for an account, purchasing digital products on, or merely interacting with themeopia.com or any other subdomain (collectively, “Themeopia,” “we,” “us,” “our”, or otherwise as indicated in any of the local context of this document), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions (or simply “Terms”). Within the scope of these Terms,  “Customer,” “User,” “You,” or any other pronoun or noun as otherwise appropriate within the local contexts can be used. All of them indicate the same.

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately opt out of using our website, services, and digital products, in whatever manner prescribed or should be done applying general reason.

2. About Themeopia & Services

Themeopia develops, distributes, and supports digital web design products, including WordPress themes, layout templates, block builder extensions, and WordPress plugins. These products and services are subject to addition and subtraction from time to time.

  • Main Shop Window: themeopia.com (product presentation, documentation, and purchase flows).

3. Software Licensing & Usage Rights

All WordPress code components (PHP scripts, CSS, and core mechanics) included within Themeopia themes and plugins are released under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later (GPL).

A. Proprietary Assets & Imagery

While the underlying functional PHP code is licensed under the GNU GPL, any custom design artwork, proprietary imagery, brand logos, icons, fonts, or copyrighted starter site content embedded in our products remain the sole intellectual property of Themeopia. You may not redistribute, re-license, or resell these distinct visual assets as standalone items.

B. Usage Scope

Your purchase entitles you to download, install, and run our products on live websites up to the active domain limit permitted by your purchased license tier (e.g., Single Site, 5-Site, or Unlimited Sites). Make sure you remain fully active and vigilant while engaging in all types of transactions.

4. License Key Activations & Automatic Updates

To receive automatic one-click updates, security patches, template library imports, and access to customer support, your installation must be paired with a valid, active Themeopia License Key.

License TierDomain Activation LimitSupport & Updates Duration
Single Site License1 Active Domain / Subdomain1 Year (or Lifetime if purchased)
Multi-Site LicenseUp to 5 Active Domains1 Year (or Lifetime if purchased)
Agency / Unlimited LicenseUnlimited Active Client Domains1 Year (or Lifetime if purchased)
  • Domain Checks: When checking for product updates, your site securely transmits its license key, domain name, and installed theme version to the main domain or otherwise stated.
  • License Revocation: Transferring, reselling, or making license keys publicly accessible online is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate license termination without refund. Additionally, you might also attract other penalizing actions to make up for losses incurred if any.

5. Purchases, Payments & Merchant of Record

Direct transactions conducted on themeopia.com are processed through a third-party service provider to ensure quality of service. This provider acts as our official Merchant of Record (MoR). You will learn more about such providers at length while engaging in transactions with us.

  • Tax Responsibility: Creem or any other concerned platform or provider calculates, collects, and remits local tax, sales tax, or VAT applicable to your billing address.
  • Payment Credentials: Themeopia servers do not store or process complete credit card numbers. Payment handling is governed by Creem’s or other providers’ Terms & Privacy Policy, as applicable.

6. Subscription Renewals & Cancellations

  • Annual Subscriptions: Product purchases default to an annual recurring subscription model. Subscriptions automatically renew 12 months after the initial purchase date unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
  • Renewal Pricing: Renewals are billed at the standard license price at the time of renewal, barring active promotional discounts applied to your subscription.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel automatic subscription renewal at any time directly from the main domain or other subordinate ones. Cancelling a subscription stops future billing while keeping your license, updates, and support active through the end of your current paid billing period.

7. Purchases via Envato / ThemeForest

If you acquire Themeopia themes or plugins via the Envato / ThemeForest Marketplace:

  • Envato acts as the seller and data controller for that specific sale.
  • Terms, billing, taxes, and refunds for marketplace purchases are governed by the Envato Terms of Service.
  • To receive direct support from the main domain, you must verify your purchase using your Envato Purchase Code.

8. Customer Account & Security

To manage your purchases, access product downloads, or open technical support tickets, you must maintain an account on the main domain or as otherwise advised.

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (password or OAuth Google/GitHub sign-in tokens).
  • You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Themeopia is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized credential sharing.
